Welcome – I’m Glad You’re Here
Thank you for visiting my page. If you’ve found your way here, it’s likely that you’re facing challenges in your life and are seeking support. Please know – you’re not alone, and help is available.
My journey into counselling began after experiencing a period of intense stress in my own professional life. That experience led me to realise the profound value of emotional support and personal growth through therapy. I now dedicate my work to helping others navigate life’s difficulties with compassion and clarity.
As a qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, I have been supporting clients for over eight years. I have previously worked with Just ‘B’ and Talking Spaces – part of the mental health services at St. Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate, North Yorkshire – where I volunteered from 2017 to 2020. This invaluable time allowed me to support individuals dealing with a wide range of issues, including trauma, bereavement, anxiety, and stress.
Currently, I work at Head Agenda in Leeds and am also a Franchisee Practitioner at the Oakdale Centre in Harrogate. Alongside this, I offer private counselling services in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. For those who prefer the convenience of remote support, I also provide online sessions via Microsoft Teams.
My counselling approach is integrative, which means I tailor sessions to suit your unique needs and goals. I will always be led by you – the client – creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where you can explore whatever you need to.
To support your healing and growth, I draw upon a range of therapeutic methods including:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Hypnotherapy
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or simply need a space to talk, I’m here to help you move forward. It’s important to know that the behaviours and beliefs we learn can be changed – and I’m here to support you in making those lasting, positive changes.
