ABOUT MARK
Hello. My name is Mark and thank you for visiting my page. As you’re here, the chances are that you are experiencing some difficulties in your life.
After going through a period of extreme stress in my own working life, I decided that there had to be a better way. I opted, therefore, to make a career change.
Without hesitation, I decided to become a counsellor, as counselling for me offers realistic and positive solutions to the challenges in life, to the times when things don’t seem to be going according to the plan you had or the way you wanted.
I have worked as a counsellor offering pro bono services at Just Be and Talking Spaces, which are the mental health services offered by St. Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. In my time volunteering there (2017-2020), I was fortunate enough to have gained a good deal of experience in helping people with a wide range of issues, but in particular bereavement, anxiety, stress and depression.
Currently, I now work at Head Agenda in Leeds as a counsellor and psychotherapist and I have been an Associate Counsellor with Uplift Mental Health. I have also branched out into private practice, from which I am offering a caring, non-judgemental, sympathetic and empathetic service to all individuals who need help. I am currently practising online, offering counselling via Teams or Zoom if you prefer.
